About

I'm Albert and I'm a photographer based in Cornwall, UK.

I was born and raised in a small fishing village on the south coast of Cornwall. I spent my young years mostly down on the beach learning to swim and jump off my local harbour in various silly ways.

After completing my A-Levels in Physics, Maths, Geography and I.T. I spent four years at university in Brighton, graduating in 2015 from the University of Sussex with a Master of Physics (MPhys) degree in Physics with Astrophysics (1st class).

I got my first DSLR in 2013 (which I still own). Since graduating, I have become an avid photographer and have spent much of my free time learning about photography and my camera inside out. My physics background has certainly helped me to get to grips with the more technical aspects of photography. Having barely known the first thing about photography up until I finished my degree, it's crazy how much I've learned about this fascinating subject in such a short space of time. They say that you can never truly master photography, as there is always something new to learn and improve on (as with most things). As such, I never plan to stop learning and developing my skills as a photographer. I consider it a journey. Let's create something together!
